Spring Aeration Begins — Whispering Winds. Course will be rough and sandy, but still open for play.

Wild Wednesdays — 5-9 p.m. every Wednesday at Cannon Lanes. Bowl as many games as you can for only $6 per person.
Retiree special — Golfers with a retired military ID will receive $2 off daily green fees and 50 percent off electric carts. M-F during March.
Olympic-style Tae Kwon Do — 4-5 p.m. at Clovis Community Center, for ages 5-7.
Outdoor trips
Sign-up deadline is today (March 21) for the trip to Ski Santa Fe, scheduled for March 29. Ski Santa Fe is family oriented, but those seeking a challenge can find it. $35 per person, includes transportation and rental of adult ski or snowboard equipment. Lift tickets available on location. Trip departs at 4:45 a.m. and returns between 8-10 p.m. March 29. Any cancellations after today, forfeit cost of trip. Call Outdoor Recreation for details, 784-2773.
A trip to Trinity Site and Valley of Fire is scheduled April 4-5. Trinity Site is where the first atomic bomb was tested July 16, 1945. The Valley of Fire portion of the trip includes a 1.5 mile walk to an old lava flow. $60 per person, includes lodging, transportation and entry fee to Valley of Fire.
