The Cannon Air Force Base Commissary is having its Worldwide Case Lot Sale today and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cannon Idol plans auditions

Auditions to become Cannon Air Force Base’s first “Cannon  Idol” will take place on base from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in the Community Center at The End Zone.

More auditions for the musical competition will be held from noon to 2 p.m. May 17-18 at the Community Center in Clovis 801 Housing.

Idol hopefuls should bring their own music on CD.

Finalists will be selected May 28.

The final “Cannon Idol” performance is scheduled for 7-10 p.m. June 28 at The Landing.

Grand prize will be recording time and the winning song will be played on a local radio station.

Cannon pharmacy now online

The Cannon Air Force Base pharmacy may now be accessed online through:

Tricare members may now refill and check the status of their prescriptions at the Tricare Web site.

Questions may be directed to the Tricare Operations and Patient Administration office at 784-4022.

 
Cannon Pet Policy

Upon registering for base housing, pet owners must register their dogs or cats and provide proof of current vaccination for rabies.

Those who obtain a pet after moving into government quarters must register them with the housing office within three days. Only two dogs or cats, or one of each, are permitted per household.

Housing operations now under 27th SOCES

The 27th Special Operation Civil Engineer Operations Flight now oversees the daily operations of the housing maintenance contract.
