Sept. 25 Cannon Community

Cannon AFB Wizard’s Advisory Council Wizard Half Marathon — 7:30 a.m., Saturday at Cannon AFB. Participants can choose to walk, jog or run. Resgistration is $25 and lunch is $5. Awards will be given out for top performers in various categories. Route will end with a barbecue celebration.

CHS Band Noodles and Notes fundraiser — 6:30 p.m., today at Leon Williams Stadium. Marching band will perform Rhapsody in Red. A spaghetti dinner will take place Saturday night at the First United Methodist Church. One ticket needed for both events and can be purchased at door or from any band member. Trek for Trash — 8 a.m., Saturday. Meet at the Parks and Recreation Department at 500 Sycamore Street to participate.

 

Ethnic Fair — 9 a.m., Saturday on Main Street. Fair will consist of various cultural presentations and vendors.

 

Chautauqua presentation of Buffalo Soldiers — 1 p.m., Saturday at the Clovis-Carver Public Library.
