Place: The National Museum of Nuclear Science and History
Location: The museum is located at 601 Eubank Blvd. SE in Albuquerque. It is 210 miles or roughly a three hour and 15 minute drive from Cannon Air Force Base.
What activities can you enjoy at this location? During a tour of the museum, visitors will be introduced to the past, present and future of nuclear science and its influences on our world.
What ages is this facility suited for? Any age is suitable for this facility.
What are admission prices? Adults ages 18-59 $8, seniors age 60 and older $7, youth ages 6-17 $ 7, active military $6, children 5 and under free.
What are the hours of operation? The museum is open daily from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. but is closed New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Are there any special events coming up? Nov. 15: Kids Salute to Military Heroes, The National Museum of Nuclear Science and History’s Tribute to Veterans Day
One special thing people can do or see here: Visitors can view the Hiroshima and Nagasaki exhibit, where they are able to see pictures before, during and after the atomic bombs were dropped.
