Festival celebrates crafts, peanuts

Event: Annual Arts and Crafts Peanut Valley Festival

Location: Campus Union Building at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales. The festival is roughly 17.2 miles or a 28-minute drive from Cannon Air Force Base.

What activities can you enjoy at this location? The event traditionally has a variety of food vendors, games, beverages, local peanuts and entertainment. Vendors from all over the United States come to sell all types of merchandise and crafts.

What ages is this facility suited for? Anyone.

What are admission prices? Admission to this event is free.

What are the hours of operation? 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 17 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. October 18.
