December 6 2007 10:50 AM

Members of the Lone Star Ballet will utilize their bodies in telling the tale of “The Nutcracker Suite” this weekend.

According to the company’s Web site the show will feature all new sets, costumes, props and choreography.

“The premier will be an extravaganza superior to any presentation Lone Star Ballet has offered. The new production will bring wonder and awe to young and old alike,” the Web site reports.

The dancers will give five performances of the magical tale that takes viewers on a journey through the land of the Sugarplum Fairy.

Proclaimed a “jewel in the crown of Texas” by the Lone Star Ballet’s Web site, the show brings more than 15,000 to the ballet each year.
